FAQ about School Programs
What is the cost of programs?
Prices vary between programs. Prices are calculated based on projected numbers of participants, how many teachers are required to teach, cost of materials, etc. Most enrichment programs calculate out to anywhere between $50-$80 per student.
How long are the programs?
Lengths vary based on availability within the school and scheduling between our studio and your other programs. After school programs such as dance, acting and group singing start at 6 weeks and up to the entire school year. Most programs require only one day per week. Musicals require a certain amount of rehearsals, generally two times per week, and a couple of performances.
Are you insured?
Yes! Some districts require us to add the district to our policy or provide proof of insurance.
Are instructors background checked?
Yes. We generally suggest you have our teachers fill out the same forms your volunteers do so you have documentation for your records.
We want our school have a musical production this year...but it seems like a lot of work. What is required of a school?
We won't lie, it IS a lot of work but SO rewarding! We take care of most of the leg work and guide you through the process. First, we suggest finding out how much interest each grade level has in a musical. This allows us to decide which grades will be invited to participate and which musicals would be best for the number interested. We typically like to use musicals from Musical Theatre International as they have THE BEST options for mainstream musicals with varying levels of difficulty. Schools need to provide a rehearsal space (though we can schedule with the district) and a performance space. Some schools use their school cafeteria stages, others use an outside venue. Parent volunteers are a must for concessions (something that most schools like to participate in), backstage help, before shows, makeup, etc. Every school is different, but we'd love to help you achieve the goal of a full musical!
How far in advance do we need to schedule programs with you?
We normally suggest giving your students about one-two months to get excited about a program. Sometimes, we schedule out the year before and other programs get scheduled two weeks before (emergency situations only). Always feel free to contact us and ask us what we can do for you!
Do you ever combine schools to help each school save money?
Sure, we can do that for you!
Will you host multiple programs in a year at our school?
Of course!
